MERLiX's STMVIEW Version 0.04 (BETA) WITH SOUND!!! =D (THANKS TO STEVE SNAKE, the Author of KEGA)

DISCLAMER(BLAH BLAH): This program just reads the movie files and displays them on your screen, thats it nothing bad should happen. But if you get beamed up by aliens, cat eats your dog, etc.. It is not my fault.

This is an Viewer for SEGA CD, MOVIE Files. It started out just for SONIC CD, but now include ECCO the Dolphin :)

Overall The sound seems to skip every second (although it works fine on my machine at home 700mhz, at work it doesnt 1ghz), I'll probably move from win32 sound into directx sound to see if that works better.

SONIC CD PROBLEMS:

At the moment it'll play opn.stm perfectly, the goodend.stm and badend.stm will now play but may skip at one point due to the frame containing the credits, so I'm going to have to write routines for a seperate buffer.

ECCO THE DOLPHIN PROBLEMS:

It plays live1.lms and live2.lms, but in Black and White, due to the fact the palette seems to be in the code that launches the movie files.

NEXT ONE TO ATEMPT DECODING:Batman and Robin

TODO:
Find a complete list of all known sega cd games which have movies/animations in them.
	Fix the sound skip.
Create a Form of a script, so that people can try and view other sega cd titles they may have.
Add GUI Features, so movie can rewind, repeat, fastforward etc..

I'll start looking at other movies as I get around to them, I wont promise anything but your welcome to request by emailing STMVIEW@MERLIX.CO.UK, also the latest version will always be avalible at www.merlix.co.uk

This program is just for windows at the moment, just drag the stm file you wish to play onto this one and enjoy.

Once again, thanks to Steve Snake, Download his SEGA genesis/CD Emu at http://www.eidolons-inn.de/kega/

Have Fun.
